My son masks his ASD symptoms at school and comes home super
exhausted…and has enormous emotional meltdowns at home.
My son just went pee, in the toilet, for the first time…
It drives me crazy when others say “she doesn’t look autistic…”, “..looks
pampered…, naughty”.
He cries, I cry, I don’t know why he’s crying…I just need to know…feeling so helpless.
It breaks my heart when I see that he tries to reach out to other kids and a
lot of them ignore him…and you can see he doesn’t understand…
When teacher says “he is too old to be in diapers…they are not age
appropriate!” My question: “Is anything about autism age appropriate??”
